A Unique California Large-Loss
Property Subrogation Firm

Our Team

AMANDA R. STEVENS, ESQ

Amanda began her career prosecuting criminal cases with the Sacramento County District Attorney’s office.  While there, she prosecuted numerous cases to verdict and earned the respect of her peers and supervisors as a fair and dogged trial attorney. Her work at the District Attorney’s office helped build off of the skills she first learned prior to law school while working as a legal advocate for abused women and men at WEAVE. Amanda then ventured into civil litigation and took a position with a noted personal injury defense litigation firm, at which she litigated various complex matters, ranging from motor vehicle accidents to wildfires.  She also dabbled in the field of subrogation, handling some construction defect and product liability matters. In 2014, our firm was looking for an experienced and well-rounded attorney, and Amanda was recommended to us by a colleague.  We reached out to her, and intrigued by subrogation work, she agreed to join our firm.

As a full-time subrogation attorney, Amanda has been involved in every aspect of every type of subrogation loss imaginable.  She is very aggressive when she needs to be, and a counselor and conciliator when the circumstances require.  Her ability to make recoveries on cases that others would have given up on is legendary in our firm.  She has risen to managing a caseload teeming with shortcomings, which she considers her daily challenge.  Amanda’s ability to spin hay into gold has earned her the gratitude of many clients, as well as a well-deserved position as a partner in our firm.

Amanda is a mentor to our associate attorneys, law clerks and staff.  She has been named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers Magazine.  In addition to her trial work in both state and federal courts, she is regularly engaged in pre-litigation negotiations, mediation, and arbitration.

When not working on matters for clients, Amanda is an avid runner having completed four marathons, over twenty half-marathons, and numerous shorter distance races.
